The World Bodyguard League
The
WBGL was established in 2000 to support internationally Close
Protection standards for basic bodyguard skills. An idea went
after The I.B.A. BG Championships where over 12 Russian teams
took part from 1995 to 2000. Competitions are difference from
common training, give the possibility to check basic bodyguard
skills in “real crisis” situations and get the best results
for participants for their own marketing activity. Principles of
approach are borrowed from historical practice of KGB 9th
Department. WBGL Membership could be obtain by organizing a
local regional office or by personal or team participation in
one of the League Tours. Corporative membership is also
available.
Regional
offices have full access to the National Bodyguard Association
of Russia resources worldwide and also are allowed to organize
local CP training courses for both government and
private/personal levels on behalf of The NBAR Academy.
